Dear Frances,
Carl wasn't just a neighbor, he was family. A man of hope and bravery. Everyday I saw that man I can see he was fighting for you. When I was younger I remember Carl taking my brother and I on a car ride and explain to us the meaning of life. He told us that life has struggles but to remember to always enjoy it. I loved my friend Carl so much and greatly miss him. Frances I just want you to know that even if I am young I will always be here for you no matter what.
