Walter Tucker Obituary

Walter D. Tucker age 63 of Hammond passed away on Friday December 13, 2019.

He is survived by his wife of 38 plus years; Earlene Tucker, children; James (Mela) Knight, Emily (Thomas) Ignas, and Melinda (Casey Boyle) Tucker, grandchildren; Jeremy, Makenzie, Connor, Brandon, Jamison, Stephanie, Axton, Jayvier, and Ryder, mother; Dorothy Tucker, siblings; Elnora (John) Matura, Clint “Ed” (Cheryl) Tucker, Edna “Nellie” (Jerry) Lassiter, John (Karen) Tucker, Lucille (Robert) Arrington, Albert (Tanya) Tucker, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Walter was preceded in death by his father; Walter J. Tucker and grandson Joel Knight.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Walter was a Carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union, Local #558. He loved carpentry, reading, watching movies, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
