Timothy Somers

Timothy Somers, age 64, of Griffith, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.

He is survived by siblings; Thomas Somers, Karen (late Donnie) Shaffer, Jerry (Leah) Dusenberry, and Keith Dusenberry, Debbie (Tom) Able, daughter, Shanna Conroy, Step Daughter Spring (John) Gastaldon and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Betty Somers, Gaylia Somers, and Stepson Nicholas Crawford.

Per Tim’s wishes, cremation was chosen, and no services are scheduled.

Tim served as a Police Officer with the Gary Police Department for many years and in his spare time, he enjoyed rescuing dogs, having rescued many during his lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tim’s name can be made to the Griffith Animal Shelter 121 N. Wood St., Griffith, IN 46319.
