Thomas A. Bukowski Jr.

Thomas A. Bukowski Jr., age 78, of Griffith passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. He is survived by his son Edward (Julianna) Bukowski; daughter-in-law Anne Bukowski; grandsons Tommy IV and Alex; siblings: Cynthia Bukowski, Gregory Bukowski, and Eleanore Sue (Joe) Giangulio; brother-in-law James Figler; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Sr. and Eleanore Bukowski, wife Marsha, and son Thomas A. III.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, located at 525 N. Broad St. Griffith, Indiana 46319 with Father Theodore Mens celebrating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana.

Thomas graduated from Andrean High School Class of 1963. He retired from Hyre Electric after 27 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith, St. Mary Men’s Club; Knights of Columbus (4th Degree); Catholic Young Adults (CYA); Isaac Walton; Lake County Fish and Game; Griffith Seniors; as well as the former long-time Scout Master of Troop #531.
