Tanya M. Tucker

Tanya Tucker (nee Middleton), age 38, of Hammond, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023. She was born May 30, 1984, to Jane Holley.

She is survived by her husband Albert Tucker, two sons: Jacob, age 14, and Raymond, age 12; her dog Buddy; her sister Lisa (James Brown) Miller; stepbrother Tom Scott; stepsister Terrie (Tim) Herriott, father: William Hornbeak, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother Jane Jenkins, stepfather George Jenkins, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave in Griffith. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home.

Tanya graduated from Morton High School in Hammond, Class of 2003, and University of Phoenix with an Associate Degree in Human Resources in 2012.

She worked many years in the food service industry where she met and connected with people from all walks of life. She loved cooking, crafting, gaming, caring for others and most of all family time. Her tender and loving soul will be missed.
