Tammy "Sia" L. Kritikos

Tammy “Sia” L. Kritikos, age 59, of Highland, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her children: Valsamo (Kevin) Neace and Niko Katsenis; former husband James Katsenis; grandchildren: Jesse, Alexandra, Tony, Jason, Joey, Axel, and Auggie; mother and stepfather: Judy (nee Aud) and Larry Will; sisters: Eva (John) Laftsidis and Giasemi Karnes; companion Jimmy Sacketos; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Nick Kritikos; and brothers: Andreas and John.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319. The Trisagion Service will be held on Thursday at 5 P.M. at White Funeral Home.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church located at 8000 Madison Ave. Merrillville, Indiana 46410 with Father Dimitri Burikas celebrating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond.

Tammy was a former employee at Maxims Restaurant and Lounge in Merrillville. She was always funny and outgoing, Tammy loved joking around with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
