Stacey Ann Corcoran

Stacey Ann Corcoran, age 61, passed away on December 28, 2022. She is survived by her siblings:  Eugene G. McConkey Jr., Darren T. McConkey, Kimberly D. McConkey-Psathas and Brenden S. McConkey; nephew Dana E. Hills; niece Stephanie D. Hills; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Patricia McConkey; her husband Jim Corcoran; and her nephew Brian R. Hills Jr.

Stacey worked as a railcar electrician mechanic. She worked at different sites for several years at a time all over the country. She was always very proud of her profession and even participated in an article on women who worked in the male-dominated field.

Her siblings believed her to be the ‘favorite” of the five children. She was much loved and reciprocated that love to her family, proudly contributing to the upbringing of her nieces and nephews. She had a special bond with her nephew, Brian Hills, Jr. who she loved dearly until his passing in 1992.

She was devoted to her husband Jim and the family they created with their fur babies. Although she battled Turner Syndrome for many years, her greatest comfort and joy came from spending time with family and friends.
