Sharon K. (Prater) Sorensen

Sharon K. Sorensen age 77 of Crown Point, Indiana passed away on Tuesday August 23, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Keith; children Cindy (Pastor Doug) Sheehy and Kent (Dee) Sorensen; grandchildren Kameron, Kaylor, Kodie, Karissa, and Krystal; brother Grover (late Ellen) Prater, and by her several nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents George and Florence Prater.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday August 27, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th (Glen Park) Avenue Griffith with Pastor Doug Sheehy officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana.

Friends may meet with the family on Saturday August 27, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at White Funeral Home.

Sharon was a member of Living Hope Church for over 30 years. She was a Mary Kay Cosmetic Director, worked at Primerica Financial Investments and was a Jewelry Sales Rep for Service Merchandise and at J.B. Robinson Jewelers. She loved reading the Bible, praying, and traveling with her friends.
