Sgt. Michael A. Kuhn

Sgt. Michael A. Kuhn, age 66, of Schererville passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. He is survived by his son: Kevin Kuhn; his brother: Bruce (Jean) Kuhn; his sister: Diane (Dave) Struebig; nieces and nephews: Dennis, Jaclyn, Matthew, Lauren, and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his parents: Melvin and Alma Kuhn.

Michael was an Army Veteran and retired Police Sergeant with the Griffith Police Department. He was a former board member of the Northwest Indiana Excellence in Theatre Foundation (NIETF). He was also a motorcycle instructor. His hobbies included riding his motorcycle, making custom model vehicles for several different police agencies and working with theatre guilds in hundreds of shows.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th (Glen Park) Avenue in Griffith. Friends may meet with the family before the service on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
