Sandra Sue (Denny) Govert

Sandra S. Govert age 73 of Schererville passed away on Tuesday December 19, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Maurice “Maury”, sons Troy (Lynette) Govert and David Govert; granddaughters Leela Govert and Nyssa Govert; great grandchildren Mason Ortiz, Violet Holloway, Jasper Holloway, Silas Smith, and Xavier Smith; brother Bob (Nancy) Denny; nephews Robert and Logan; niece Michelle (Jack) Hutchinson, by her great nephews Robert III, Trevor Hutchinson, and great niece Trinity Denny Michelle (Jack) Hutchinson. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents William and Vera Denny, and her siblings Donna, Billie Jean, Patricia, and Wayne.

 A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 912 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319.

Sandra loved gardening, baking, tending to her flowers and showing them at the Lake County Fair. She raised and showed Collies. Sandra really enjoyed having her grandkids and great grandkids over. For information please call White Funeral Home at 219-924-4100.
