Rosalinda L. Torrez

Rosalinda L. Torrez, age 72, of Munster (formerly of Hammond) passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She is survived by her son Andrew (Maggie) Torrez; siblings: Herman “Al” (Diane Lewis) Torrez, Hope (Eliseo Contreras) Torrez, Alex Torrez; several nieces and nephews; and cousin Carmen “Nena” Perez. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Lucy; and her brother Arthur Torrez.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana.

Rosalinda retired from Arcelor Mittal after 38 years as a Forklift Operator. She was a member of the Cancer Society of America and ASPCA.  She was an avid animal lover. She was also a fan of Elvis, The Beatles, and the Chicago White Sox!
