Roger Dale Jackson Sr.

Roger Dale Jackson Sr. age 56 of Gary, IN passed away on December 19, 2022. Roger was born in Hammond, IN to Gerald Sr. and Mary Jackson on September 13, 1966.

Roger was survived by his wife Tammy, to whom he married on September 30, 2017. He was survived by his son Roger Dale (Felicia) Jackson Jr., grandchildren Zander Jackson and March 2023 baby Sofi Jackson, stepchildren Don (Mel) Bush Jr., Kristan (Ryan) Luft, Phillip (Madalyn) Lange, and step grandson Brandon Bush. 

He was also survived by his mother Mary Jackson, his sister Lorie Cook, his brother Gerald (Dorothy) Jackson Jr., and his sister Dawn Nichols. As well as many other loved family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Jackson Sr., his brother Franklin Carey Jackson, and mother-in-law Dorothy Nell Jinkins.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home.

Roger was the owner of 1st Response Towing and Recovery. He was a retired firefighter from the Lake Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Red Knights motorcycle club. Roger loved to spend his time camping, riding his motorcycle, racing, and most of all with family and friends.
