Roger S. Hardin

Roger S. “Hans” Hardin, 63 of Griffith, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

He is survived by his brother, Mike (Denise) Hardin; his nephews, Brad (Maggie) Hardin, Jeremiah (Amanda) Hardin, Nolan (Brianne) Graves, and Garrett (Alison) Graves; and his niece, Deanna (Josh) Wiley. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, including Avery, Mackenzie, Olivia, Kreszentia, Lincoln, and one more on the way, as well as numerous cousins.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Betty Hardin.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home (921 W. Glen Park Ave. Griffith, IN) with Fr. David Kime officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Inurnment will take place at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville (6305 Lincoln Hwy, Crown Point, IN).

Roger was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He was also in Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity while in college.
