Robert L. Peterson

Robert L. Peterson, age 65 of Corpus Christi Texas, formerly of East Chicago, Indiana passed away on Wednesday March 5, 2025. He is survived by his siblings Gloria (Rodolfo) Esquivel, Marcelino (Rosario) Quintero, Brenda (late Robert) Scott, and Cynthia (late Jeffrey) Driver, also by his sister-in-law Sharon Quintero, nieces and nephews Michelle, Everardo, Hector, Richard, Diana, Antonio, Mellyssa, Javier, J.J., Melanie, Tamar, Jared, Alfonso, Jared, Carlos and Robert.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Gloria Peterson, brothers Carlos Quintero and Wayne J. Peterson Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home located at 912 W. Glen Park (45th) Avenue Griffith, Indiana with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will follow at St. John-St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday March 14, 2025, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home.

Robert graduated from East Chicago Roosevelt High School Class of 1979, and he was a Marine Corps Veteran. He retired from the Corpus Christi Water Dept. where he was highly respected by his Co-workers. Robert was an avid carpenter who loved helping others with his carpentry skills. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
