Robert Allen Cummings

Robert Allen Cummings age 70 of Griffith, formerly of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Wednesday December 20, 2023. He is survived by his sister Barbara (Huseyin) Usak, brothers Jeffrey Cummings, Anthony Cummings, and Roger Cummings, and by several nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Bertha Jane Cummings, and by his brothers Lester, Richard, Joseph, Marvin, and Cecil Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th (Glen Park) Avenue with Fr. Keith Virus officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Park Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home.

Robert retired from Jewel Food Stores after 30 years and was a member of the Union. Robert loved bowling and all sports (especially the Cubs and Da Bears). Robert enjoyed watching John Wayne and the “Untouchables”, and his favorite Holidays were Halloween and Christmas. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Pace Willingness Center in Dyer.
