Richard J. Granter

Richard J. “Rick” Granter age 57 of Hobart, formerly of Griffith, passed away on Friday February 18, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Angie; children Summer (Daniel) Biby, Richard II(Tammy) Granter, Mary Granter, and Victoria Granter; grandchildren Levi, Jacson, Ivy, Beatrix, Hunter, Haley, and Elijah; and by his siblings Charles “Chuck” Granter, Bill (Dana) Granter, Mary (Jeff) Becze, and George (Cindy) Granter. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Betty Granter and by his sister Judy.               

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 26, 2022, at 5:00pm at White Funeral Home with Pastor Samuel Abbott officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday February 26th from 1-5:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave) in Griffith, Indiana.

Rick was a member of Southlake Worship Center (The Crossings).  He was formerly employed by Topps transmissions. He loved working on and riding motorcycles. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
