Richard N. Bainbridge

Richard N. Bainbridge age 78 of Griffith, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cassie; daughter, Dawn Gearhart; granddaughters Blaire (Donny) Hoover, and Haley Gearhart; nieces and nephews; and four-legged companions: Josi and Jovi.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elizabeth, sister Judith, and brother Joseph.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave., Griffith, with Ashley Roll officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home.

Richard is a Navy Veteran and retired from NIPSCO (Gary Gas Street) after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time at his lake house (Shafer Lake), and gardening with “his girls”.
