Paula E Knight

Paula E. Knight, age 82, of Crown Point, passed away on Friday, May 16th, 2025.

She is survived by her children; Tony (Lisa) Knight and Cathy (Andy) Tkacs, grandchildren; Jessica (James), Brandon (Anne), Justin, Brooke (Adam), Peter, great-grandchildren; Tristan, Nevaeh, Bailey, Libby, Margot, Dylan, Jordan, Steven, Jack, Mitch, Tom “Tom-Tom”, and Kent.

Paula was preceded in death by Wadie J., the love of her life.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Teibel’s Family Restaurant located at 1775 US-41, Schererville, IN. Following the service, a luncheon will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 for close family and friends at Teibel’s. If you feel especially connected and would like to stay, please feel free, your presence would be warmly welcomed.

Paula was her family who always enjoyed the holidays and entertaining those that she loved. Paula had a deep faith in Christ, making time for Bible Studies, and also being a member of Bethel Church in Crown Point. Paula enjoyed her job at the Hammond Times and the Post-Tribune, she worked at both locations for many years and throughout her time, she developed many long-lasting friendships with those she worked with.

Paula was known by all those who knew and loved her as quite a survivor, she had beat Breast Cancer, Lupus, and other illnesses during her lifetime.

Paula had many hobbies, she enjoyed cooking, painting, crocheting, working with her flowers and in her garden, playing Bunco with dear friends, and enjoyed card games. Hand and Foot and Shanghai being two of her favorites.

Paula will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
