Patricia A Laviolette

Patricia A. Laviolette, 93, of Griffith, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Patricia was the beloved mother of William (Kathy) Laviolette Jr. and Cheryl Mills. She was a proud grandmother to Daniel (Kelley) Mills Jr., Douglas Mills, David Mills, and Darren Mills, and a cherished great-grandmother to Claudia, Sadie, and Jovie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Minnie Umphreys; her loving husband, William “Bill” Laviolette Sr.; her grandson, Billy Ray Laviolette; her daughter-in-law, Chris Laviolette; and her siblings, Ellen, Helen, Lou, Orval, Ebb, Lee, Junior, Maurice, Dawson, and Burton.

Patricia was a proud businesswoman, formerly co-owning Bill & Pat’s Restaurant in Griffith as well as the Griffith Mobil Gas Station. She enjoyed sewing and playing bingo and will be remembered for her strong work ethic and love for her family.
