Patricia (Parker) Huffman

Patricia P. Huffman, age 94, of Highland, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025.

She is survived by her children; Steven R. (Robyn) Huffman, David N. Huffman, Brenda (Michael) Burns, and grandchildren; Rachel and Karl Burns.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Sterling and Ruth Parker, husband, Robert, and siblings, Carl Sterling Parker Jr., and Marilyn L. Pape.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith with Pastor Brandon Rukes officiating.

Inurnment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at White Funeral Home.

Patricia found joy in gardening, spending time at the beach (often collecting the different seashells) and relaxing in the sun. Patricia enjoyed the clouds, always appreciating the unique shapes they took in the sky. Patricia loved to travel, enjoyed listening to music, and had an eye for antiques.

As a devoted Chicago Cubs fan, Patricia often found excitement in watching games and sharing that enthusiasm with those she loved. She also enjoyed watching basketball and creating lasting memories with her grandchildren.

Pat had a great love for life and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
