Melodie K Badillo

Melodie. K Badillo, 51 of Dyer Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, at 4:13 AM surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 28, 1973, in Hammond, Indiana to Charles Gray and Louvenia Gray, (Dunn). Melodie graduated from Hammond High School and married her loving husband Rolando Badillo of 31 years in Hammond, Indiana on September 18, 1993, and raised their three beautiful children in Dyer, Indiana.

She is survived by her husband, Rolando Badillo, children Charles (Alexandria) Badillo, Bianca (fiancé Kevin) Badillo, Jesus Badillo, grandchildren, Lavella, Mason, and Sophia, siblings, Janice Godbee, Anthony Gray, Paula Levan, and Tanya Keith and by her nieces and nephews, Olivia, Tyler, Nathan, Samantha, and Sean along with many great nieces and nephews.

She worked at Franciscan Dyer as a housekeeper and worked tirelessly as a loving mother of three to provide, care, and love for her family. She loved Christmas and collecting snowmen. Favorite memories of Melodie were spending time with her grandchildren, watching her favorite cooking shows, and decorating the tree for Christmas every year.

Melodie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Louvenia Gray and niece Brittney.

 A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith with Fr. Charles Niblick officiating. 

Friends may meet with the family on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service at White Funeral Home.

 Melodie will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
