Maxine "Mac" Allen Obituary

Maxine L. “Mac” Allen, age 79, of Wheatfield IN, formerly of Hessville and Highland, Indiana, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025. Maxine is survived by her brother Walter “Wally” Hartman Jr; stepchildren William “Billy” (Chrissy) Allen, Kelly (Scotty) Harrington, and Joshua (Tracy Jimenez) Allen; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; sister-in-law Jeanette Hartman; and by her four-legged companion Shultz. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Virginia Hartman Sr, husband Danny Allen, siblings Scott Hartman, Eileen Blount, Joy Middleton, and Marjorie Costellic; and by her best friend Judy Peterson. Maxine was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Wheatfield. She enjoyed painting, music, writing song lyrics and Elvis. All services will be private following Mac’s wishes.
