Max A Guzman Jr.

Max A. Guzman Jr., age 88, of Lansing, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

He is survived by long-time friend and caretaker, Gwen (Kirk) Christenberry, children; Joseph Guzman, Robert (Amra) Guzman, grandson, Mikey (Colleen) Guzman, great-granddaughters, Aubrie and Annabelle, brother, Ben (Diana) Guzman, great-niece, Abriella Vance, and several nieces and nephews.

Max was preceded in death by his parents, Max Sr., and Hortense Guzman, and siblings, Helen, Delia, Marylou, and Bob.

Cremation was chosen and there are no services scheduled at this time.

Max retired from the Steel Industry in the Maintenance Department. Max loved his Chicago Cubs, purchasing his Lotto tickets, dancing, and was very much a family-oriented man, always finding a way to make people laugh.

A special thank-you to Aubrie, Annabelle, and Abriella for taking time to go visit Max while he was in the hospital, nursing home facility, and lending a helping hand when it was needed for his care.
