Mary E (Balboa) Perez

Mary E. Perez, age 76, passed away on Thursday, December 12th, 2024.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, known as the quiet Matriarch of the family. Family was very important to Mary; her children and grandchildren were her strength. She always enjoyed time spent with her family. Mary loved spending time thrifting and having lunch dates. She enjoyed rooting for, watching and representing her favorite Chicago teams. Mary will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children; Eduardo (Lupe), Manuel (Jeanifer), Sofia (Frank), son-in-law, Jorge, grandchildren; Sofia, Valerie, Jorge, Eddie, Olivia, Angelica, Anthony, Alicia, Vincent, great-grandchildren, Anthony “A.J.”, Tavon “Tay”, Melecio, Mariana, and Maricela, sisters, Rosalinda (Bill), Bertha, brother Antonio and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by husband, Eduardo, daughter, Rosemary, parents Antonio and Rosa, and siblings, Antonio, Michael, and Gloria.

Friends may visit with the family for a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith, IN.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home with Deacon Michael Halas officiating.

Inurnment will take place on Friday, December 20th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John-St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery located in Hammond, IN. Family and friends are asked to meet DIRECTLY at the cemetery.
