Marvin "Butch" M. Miller

Marvin M. Miller Jr. “Butch” age 59 of Cedar Lake passed away on Thursday July 23rd, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Renee Miller, children Adam (Elizabeth) Miller, Aaron (Stephanie) Miller, and Alyssa Miller, grandchildren Aydin Miller, Karagan Miller, and McCoy Miller, father Marvin M. Miller Sr., siblings Kathy (Dave) Heiser, Karen Miller, and Harold (Jeanette) Miller, and by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marvin was preceded in death by his mother Frances Miller.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 26th, 2020 at 3:30 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2529 located at 13140 Lake Shore Dr., Cedar Lake. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday July 26th, 2020 beginning at 2:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2529.

“Butch” was a retired Carpenter with the Carpenter’s Local Union 1005. He was a trustee of Fraternal Order of Eagles 2529, and past Vice President of Eagle Riders 2529. A loving husband, father, papa, son, uncle, and friend to many. A man who worked hard every day and grew his family with love. He was a man whose smile lit up the room the instant he walked in. The man, our man, who gave us the courage and power to be who we are today. The man who fought long and hard for many years. In the end, cancer did not win, love won. He will be deeply missed and loved continuously. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedar Lake Eagle Rider’s 2529 will be kindly accepted. Donations will go towards “Butch’s Wish”
