Mark John Wachtstetter

Mark John Wachtstetter, 72, of Concord NC, died Sunday, June 4, 2023, at his home after a battle with Parkinsons.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 12:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, IN 46319. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM when service begins.

Mark was born July 14, 1950, in Indianapolis, IN, a son of the late Earl M. and Mary Francis Keith Wachtstetter. Mark graduated from Gateway Bible School and then attended Florida Theological Univ. where he received his Doctorate in Theology. He pastored the Apostolic Church in Madison Heights, MI, The Abundant Life Church in Lubbock TX, Grace Fellowship in Griffith IN, Crossview Church in Canton OH and lastly, Fellowship 5:17 in Kannapolis NC. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother Stanley E Wachtstetter.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Herron Wachtstetter, his children; Kimberly W. Botts (Pat) and Troyce, Taylor, Hunter, and Alyssa Wachtstetter. Mark is also survived by his brother Daniel Wachtstetter (Marty), sister-in-law Helen Wachtstetter, sister Paula Hernandez (Joe), brother Timothy Wachtstetter (Terri), two brothers-in-law Kevin and Todd Herron, his grandson Dominic Botts as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
