Lydia J. Patrick

Lydia J. Patrick, aged 78, of Merrillville, formerly of Griffith, passed away on Monday, April 7th, 2025.

She is survived by special friend, Ron Pushka, niece, Aurial Patrick, and numerous cousins.

Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, David W. and Lydia M. Patrick, brother, David D. Patrick, and sister, Kathie M. Patrick.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 14th, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, located at 801 W. 73rd Ave., Merrillville, with Fr. Lourdu Pasala celebrating. Cremation will follow the service.

Lydia, a proud graduate of Griffith High School, Class of 1964, dedicated her career to serving others as an X-ray Technician at the University of Chicago in the 1970s. She later embraced the beauty of Colorado, where she spent forty-one fulfilling years, before returning to her roots in the Northwest Indiana region.

A devout Catholic, Lydia's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her warmth and spirit touched the hearts of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
