Lorraine M Jung

Lorraine M. Jung, age 86 of Cedar Lake, formerly of East Chicago, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She is survived by her daughters: Christine (Mark Collier) Harms and Sharon (Thomas) Murchek, stepdaughter Vicki Jung, grandchildren: Leslie (Cory) Simpson, Samantha (Steve) Peller, and Timothy (Sandra) Murchek, great-grandchildren: Madison Simpson and Winnie Peller, brother: Gerald (Janet) Matusiak, and brother-in-law: Robert Connor, and many nieces and nephews.  

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents: Michael and Eleanor, husbands: James A. King and Norbert Jung, granddaughter: Stefanie Murchek, grandson: David Collier, and sisters: Diane Matusiak and Barbara Conner.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave., Griffith. Burial will follow at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery in Cedar Lake.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home.

Lorraine was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She was a retired employee of Schepel Buick, avid bowler, and loved going to the boats.
