Loren Bruce Johnson

Loren Bruce Johnson, age 70, of Crown Point, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dinah; his children: Duane (Raechelle) Johnson, Jeremy (Missy) Johnson, and Tim Johnson; grandchildren: Caleb, Dylan, Brayden, and Mia; siblings: Sharon (Bill) Cass, Don Johnson, Doug (Marilyn) Johnson, Bob (Joanne) Johnson, Janet (Gary) Baz, and Mike (Anna) Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Ellen Johnson.

A Funeral Service will be held, November 25, 2022, at 1:30 P.M. at Family Christian Center in Munster with Pastor Stephan K. Munsey officiating. Friends may meet with the family before the service on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Family Christian Center.

Bruce retired after 45 years in the steel industry. He was a member of Family Christian Center in Munster. He played Hockey as team captain at San Diego State University. In addition to his love for golf, he loved coaching and watching all sports. He was known for his Swedish pancakes aka "Papa Pancake".
