Linda L. (Swaim) Carter

Linda L. Carter age 85 of Griffith, passed away on Monday September 13, 2021. She is survived by her son Wendell (Kathy) Carter; grandchildren Sam (Brittany) Carter and Manon Carter. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Doy and Olive Eulalia (nee Wilkinson) Swaim, husband Richard Carter, and by her sisters Shirley Drake and Phyllis Knox. Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 18, 2021, at 1:30pm Directly at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Eldon, Iowa.

Linda was a retired Beautician working in both Bloomfield and Eldon, Iowa. She and her late husband Richard owned the Main Street Strippers in Eldon, Iowa and she was an active member of the Ottumwa Fleet Reserve Auxiliary.  She enjoyed sewing and quilting (belonging to many Guilds). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Eldon Christian Church 514 W. Walnut St. Eldon, Iowa 52554.
