Lillian A. Lopacinski age 97 of Crown Point formerly of Hometown, IL passed away on Monday November 8, 2021. She is survived by her son Leo (Carolyn) Lopacinski Jr.; granddaughter Amanda (Dylan) Stamper; great granddaughters Brianna, Olivia, and Amelia; numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Josephine Vilimek, husband Leo Lopacinski Sr., and by her 8 siblings.
All services will be private.
Lillian was one of the “Rosie the Riveters” during World War II making aircraft for the war effort. She loved making jewelry, crafting, and bird watching. Lillian especially loved spending time with her grandkids and working on crossword puzzles.
