LeRoy C. "Lee" Connors

LeRoy C. “Lee” Connors age 85 of Lowell, passed away on Friday December 8, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Jeanette; children Michael (Bonnie) Connors and Christina McDermott; grandchildren Kylie McDermott and Steven McDermott Jr.; son-in-law Steve McDermott; sisters in- law Judy Abel and Debbie Horvath; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Hazel Connors, brother Ronald Connors, and by his sister Gloria Klasser.

A celebration of LeRoy’s life will be held at a later date.

LeRoy graduated from Morton High School class of 1958 and Indiana University with a metallurgical and steel making degree. He was an Army veteran serving with the 543rd Engineer Company Pipe-Line Support Group in France and Germany. LeRoy was retired from Inland Steel (Cleveland Cliffs) after 37 years as a mechanic. He was also a member of the Hessville Moose Lodge.
