Laddie G. Wells

Laddie G. Wells age 78 of Gary, Indiana passed away on Thursday May 14, 2026. He is survived by his son Scott (Kristi) Wells; grandchildren Jason Anderson, Rabekka Rex, Reanna Rex; sister-in-law Laura Wells, and by several nieces and nephews.
Laddie was preceded in death by his beloved wife Glenda “Annette”; daughter Kellie Rex; parents Jean and Mary Wells; brother Lowell Wells; and by his sister Trudy (Alan) Strong.
Services will be private.

Laddie retired from Ivy Tech Community College in East Chicago after 24 years. He was a member of Sonrise Baptist Church in Lake Station. He loved fishing, tinkering on cars, riding four wheelers, and his grandpuppies.
