June E. Cannon

In Loving Memory of June E. Cannon,
Born March 31, 1936, and passed peacefully with loved ones on September 12, 2025.
June was a long-time resident of Griffith, IN and a member of Griffith First Christian Church for over 60 years. She was a loving mother to four children Vernon (Patti) Cannon, Jeff (Karen) Cannon, Kim (Alex) Mileusnic and Susan (Gerald) Cannan. Grandmother to five: Jonathan, Ashley, Nikola, Jesse and James. She also had four step grandchildren: Nikki, Beth, Matt, and Tommy, and seven great-grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her husband Harold.
Her life was a testament to her passions: her deep love for her family, her unwavering faith, and the simple joys of gardening and being outdoors. She found peace and purpose in her church, where she enjoyed knitting and shared laughter at luncheons with the people she held dear. June was known for her kind heart and strong faith, which guided her through life, and will be dearly missed and remembered by the many who loved her.
