Joseph P. Przewoznik

Joseph P. Przewoznik, age 46, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

He is survived by his children, Edward L. Przewoznik and Nevaeh Fry; his siblings, Edward (Patricia) Przewoznik, Veronica (Jessica) Przewoznik, and Anthony (Roberta Pressley) Przewoznik; his aunts and uncles, Mike (Jinny) Seltzer, David Seltzer, and Jan Przewoznik; and his cousins, Matthew Przewoznik, Anthony Przewoznik, Edward Przewoznik, and Samantha Przewoznik.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sari Przewoznik, his sister Rachel Przewoznik, and many aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave., Griffith, with Pastor Adam Lyle officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home.

Joseph was known for his love of cars and engines, from Indy car racing to NASCAR. He was a devoted Chicago Cubs and Bears fan who rarely missed a game. For more than 20 years, he worked as a mechanic at Sandling Industrial Services, where he earned a reputation as a dedicated member of the team.

Joseph’s life wasn’t always easy, but he found joy in the things he loved most. Today, we remember him with respect and affection, holding onto the good memories and the light he shared along the way.
