John A. Bonham

John A. Bonham age 66 of Gary, IN, passed away on Sunday December 10th, 2023. He was survived by his wife of 39 years Cindy; daughter Christy (Kyle) Sellers; Granddaughter Jeweliet Sellers; Sister Tami Voyles; Nephews Colby Voyles and Beau (Nicole) Voyles.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Theodore “Ted” and Patricia Bonham.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday December 17th,2023 at 5:00pm at White Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. The burial of John’s cremains will be at sea. Friends may meet with family on December 17, 2023, from 2-5pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave) in Griffith.

John was the owner of John’s Appliance in Gary. He was a former member and Chief with the Lake Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. John was a Vietnam Navy Veteran and he retired from the Army reserves. John was a life member and past Commander of the VFW Post 1563 in Merrillville and a member of the Isaac Walton League in Griffith. John also loved riding his motorcycle.
