Joan Algozzini Obituary

Joan Algozzini, age 88, long time resident of Griffith passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. She is survived by her son John (LeeAnne) Algozzini; granddaughter Molly Anne (Adam) Lewis; great grandchildren Elizabeth and Alexander; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband John; sister Betty D. Ragelis.

Services will be private. Inurnment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

Joan was a member of Griffith Park Full of Art Committee; Griffith Centennial Committee; Griffith Senior Center Tea Parties; Imagine Griffith Committee; Yo Hoe Garden Club. Her hobbies and passions were gardening and painting.
