Jill J. Stodgel

Jill J. Stodgel, age 75, of Griffith, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She is survived by her cousins Kathy (Tom) Guzek, Joel G. Hedrick, Donna (Rich) Anderson and Tricia Hedrick. She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Virginia Stodgel; uncle John (Geraldine); and aunt Josephine.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319 with Pastor Brandon Rukes officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:00 AM when the service begins.

Jill graduated from Morton High School and Indiana State University. She was a retired 2nd grade schoolteacher at Beiriger Elementary in Griffith, Indiana. Jill was a former member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hammond, Indiana, and a member of the Griffith Eastern Star.
