September 18,1973 - April 24, 2025

Jennifer Rae Campbell, a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend, was

unexpectedly called to Heaven on Thursday April 24, 2025 at the young age of 51.

She is survived by her two children: Melanie Faith Black (30) & Mason Allen Black

(22). She was also the proudest “MIMI” to her three grandchildren: Maria James

Aburto-Black (age 3), Everly Rae Fassoth (age 2) and William John Fassoth V (3

months).

She was a wild, carefree spirit who loved nothing more than being surrounded by

those she loved the most (AKA her “peeps”). She always managed to bring

sunshine to the gloomiest of days and was always so positive. Whenever she

wasn’t jamming to Kenny Chesney, she would be jumping in the car for a cruise

and going wherever the road and the radio takes you. Her laugh was contagious,

her smile so warm and bright, too beautiful to forget. As a devoted Notre Dame

fan, she also found joy in the little things; turtles, music, shopping at Old Navy or

Bath and Body works and binge watching classic 80’s flicks.

Words cannot express how much she will be missed. The days grow longer and

move a lot slower without her here. In leu of her passing, we invite friends and

loved ones to come celebrate her life with us at White Funeral Home located at 921

W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave) in Griffith, Indiana on May 9, 2025. The visitation will

be from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm with a short memorial service at 7:00pm.

If you plan on attending, her family asks that you come in your most “natural &

groovy self”, whether that be a tie-dye shirt or if you know my mom, something

that looks “up her alley”.
