Jeffrey S. Hacker

Jeffrey S. Hacker “Big Jeff”, age 60, formerly of Hammond, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Rachelle of 25 years, children: Ryan (Tiffany), Jeffrey (Bri), Sarah, and Luke, grandchild: Darla, mother: Karen Hacker, siblings: Fred Jr. and David (Erin), many aunts and uncles, especially close to his uncle Bill, fur companion: Sherriff, and many nieces and nephews. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, Fred Hacker Sr.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Avenue (45th Ave.) in Griffith, IN.

Jeffrey from a young age learned the art of baking from his family’s business and grew up hunting and bowling. He spent many years of his life making baked goods for friends and family. He also coached youth football for 14 years, where he met many of his lifelong friends. Jeffrey also enjoyed various hobbies, such as fruit picking, fishing, and cutting a fresh Christmas tree during the holiday season. His greatest happiness came from his family, to whom he devoted much of his time; he will be deeply missed.
