Iva M. (Jorsch) Kozina

Iva M. Kozina, age 92, of LaPorte, Indiana (formerly of Dolton, Illinois) passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. She is survived by her sons: Frank (Deborah) Cogswell and Roy (Sandra) Cogswell; grandchildren: Christopher (Sara), Jeffrey (Chie), Jason (Michelle), Justin (Lindsay); great grandchildren: Jason Jr, Maddie, Cora, Stephen, Evan, Maya, Emiko, Logan. Lillyann; brother Jerry Jorsch; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Margaret Jorsch; daughter Brenda Pammer; grandson Ryan (Nicole); and by her siblings: Raymond, Donald and Robert.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, located at 525 N. Broad St. Griffith, Indiana 46319 with Father Keith Virus celebrating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, Illinois. Friends may meet with the family from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319. An additional visitation will begin at 9:15 AM until the time of service at St. Mary Catholic Church.
