Helen L. (Ledesma) Gandara

Helen L. Gandara, age 76, of East Chicago, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024.

She is survived by her children; Madeline Palma, John Gandara, Raul Gandara, and Manuel Jesse Gandara, her  many grandchildren; and by her sister Alma Morales

Helen is preceded in death by her husband Raul Gandara, parents Manuel J. and Josephine Ledesma, sister Tommie Zamora and brothers Johnny and Valentine Ledesma.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) in Griffith.

Helen was born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and listening to her favorite music. Helen was a very happy person, always the life of the party, and enjoyed to have fun everywhere she went. She really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Helen will be deeply greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
