Guillermo "Will" P. Hernandez

Guillermo “Will” Hernandez, age 36, of Griffith, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. He is survived by his mother Phyllis (Chris) Jostes; father Guillermo (Rae) Hernandez; brother Vincent (Alisha) Hernandez; sisters: Faith Flynn, Patricia Hernandez, Amelia Hernandez, Latisha (Deivis) Pulokas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; maternal grandparents: Philip and Alice Kaufman; and paternal grandmother: Rosa Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Guillermo.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at St. James The Less Catholic Church located at 9640 Kennedy Ave. Highland, Indiana 46322 with Father Gregory Bim-Merle celebrating. Inurnment at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 9:45 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at St. James The Less Catholic Church.

Will was a graduate of Griffith High School, Class of 2004. He was a former employee of Diamond Vending in Highland. He was an avid weightlifter and loved going to the gym and listening to music.
