Gloria M Alexander

Gloria M. Alxander, age 87, of Wheatfield, formerly of Hammond, passed away on Tuesday, May 7th, 2025.

She is survived by her children; Karron (Kevin) Younker, Glen F. (Gwen) Alexander Jr., Leslie (Rose) Alexander, Constance (Keith) Houlihan, Dennis Alexander, Mark Alexander, 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Forest Harmon and Agnes Duvall, daughters-in-laws, Nancy and Sheila Alexander, and two great-grandchildren: Bianca Escobedo and Ryan Mallard.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith, with Pastor Steve Jones officiating.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until time of the service at White Funeral Home.

Gloria worked as a Beautician and later went on to become an LPN.

Gloria loved to travel inside and outside the U.S.A., and she enjoyed taking her grandchildren on camping trips.

She enjoyed painting, ceramics, sewing, and crocheting.
