Gerry Lynn Garcia

Gerry Lynn Garcia, age 68, of Highland, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024. She is survived by her husband of 33 years John; children: Lisa (Harold) Crafton, Daniel (Shelby Boettger) Schultz, and Anthony (Tiffany) Garcia; grandchildren: Connor, Kylee, Shane, Gianna, Angelia, Giovanni, and Adaleigh; siblings: Shirley Burnett, Mickey Skaggs, Terry Skaggs (Sunny) and Betty Arney; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arley and Evelyn; brother Bradley Skaggs; sisters: Mary Sapyta (Jim) and Nancy Skaggs; niece Evelyn McSwain; and her dog Ginger  

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319, with Louis Mendoza officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at White Funeral Home.

Gerry loved arts and crafts, baking, gardening, Dippin Dots, White Castle shakes, holidays and sitting in her gazebo. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and always planned special days with them. Gerry loved family game nights and was always super competitive. Gerry will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
