George D. Cox

George D. Cox, age 69, of Crown Point, Indiana passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 9 years Connie; children: Kyle (Christine) Cox of Garland, TX, Zachary Cox, Alijah Cox, Alexis Cox, Joshua Cox, and Charlie Cox all of Wichita Falls, TX; sisters: Beverly Cox, Connie (Bobby) Short, Patty (Chris) Peters all of Florida; and by several nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Shirley Cox, and by his sister Cheryl Millspaugh.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 20, 2022, at 7:00pm at White Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Rukes officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday December 20th from 4-7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave,) in Griffith.

 George’s proudest moments in his life were when he became a father 6 times. He was a Master Sergeant and retired Flight Instructor and on the Flight Line with the United States Air Force. He enjoyed showing horses in Texas and breeding Maltese dogs. George was also a former employee with the United States Postal Service for 10 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Wounded Warriors Project in memory of George.
