Fernando Soto

Fernando Soto, age 47, of East Chicago, Indiana passed away on February 1, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Theresa; sons: Luis Gonzalez, Fernando Soto, D’Angelo Soto, and Sergio Soto; mother: Maria Olga Soto; brothers and sisters: Hernan (late Jean) Soto, Jesse (Gail) Garnello, Veronica (Victor) Sanchez, Rosemary Garnello, Annie Soto, Yara (Jose) Nunez; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Arcadio Soto; sister Josephine Garnello; niece Miranda Garnello; and nephews Jose’ Garnello and Richard Camacho.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Avenue, Griffith, Indiana.

Fernando retired as a dispatcher with R & L Carriers after 25 years. When he was not working, he was spending time with his family. He was an amazing husband and father. His family was the center of his world.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
