Dolores J Lopp

Dolores J. Lopp, age 84, of Griffith, passed away on Saturday, March 15th, 2025.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Lopp.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Jennie Skoczen, husband, Adolph, and sister, Margie (Bill) Gumbiner.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, beginning at 12 NOON at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith with Pastor Brandon Rukes officiating.

Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

Friends can meet with the family on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. till time of the service.

Dolores was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 66 Ladies Auxiliary. She also participated in the Griffith Girls Softball League for many years.

In her free time, Dolores pursued a variety of hobbies, including ceramics, cross-stitching, plastic canvas crafts, gardening, and reading magazines like The Enquirer and Globe.
