Delores C Price

Delores C. Price, “Dodie,” age 93, of Griffith, passed away on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025.

She is survived by her children; Lynda Lain, Roy (Suzette) Price Jr., David (Jan) Price, Steven Price, grandchildren; Carrie (Eric) Croas, David (Christie) Price, Matthew Price, and great-grandchildren, Emily and David Price.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Ford and Georgiana Logan, husband, Roy Price, brother, Jack Logan, and son-in-law, William Lain.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, beginning at 12 NOON at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith, with Pastor Brandon Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crown Point.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at White Funeral Home.

Delores was a long-time member of HopeSpring Church, formerly known as the First Baptist Church of Griffith, where she served as the church secretary for over 30 years. Delores also volunteered at the Foodbank of Northwest Indiana.

A devoted Chicago sports fan, Delores cheered on every team, except the Chicago White Sox. She was also an avid bowler, participating in a league for many years.

Delores pursued other hobbies as well, including sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, especially those in her church community.   

Delores will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
