Darlene Sechrest Obituary

Darlene Sechrest, age 88, of Gary, passed away on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025.

She is survived by her children; Vickie (Dan) Rust, Terri (George) Harding, Linda (Jack) Wheeler, William (Susan) Cooper, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, siblings, Lois (late Paul) McVay, Victor (Gloria) Guthrie Jr., Sandy (late Stanley) Cummings, and daughter-in-law Diana Cooper.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Ruby Guthrie, husband, Jack Sechrest, and son, Robert Cooper Jr.

Cremation was chosen and there are no services scheduled at this time.

Darlene enjoyed going on cruises, deer hunting, fishing, and going to the casinos.
